Coloring tutorial

My friend at school is just starting to use Photoshop and she asked me how to color stuff so instead of writing a really confusing email, I just made this.

THIS IS JUST HOW I DO IT, IT DOES NOT MEAN IT IS THE BEST AND ONLY WAY TO DO IT!
